New solar power incentive

Whilst the solar industry waits for the NSW Government to announce a new solar scheme, Aussie Solar Installations has initiated their own solar incentives for home owners.

Aussie Solar has announced they will pay home owners 40 cents per kilowatt hour exported to the grid on a NETT feed in tariff, over and above what electricity retailers are offering, for up to 12 months.

On a NETT feed in tariff, home owners can use the power they produce first before any excess is exported to the grid. This will decrease their electricity bills and earn them money for any excess power exported back to the electricity grid.

"We've done our research and seen the results. Solar power is efficient at reducing home owner's electricity bills. It is also the cleanest and most viable form of renewable energy. It's important and seems only fair that home owners are paid for the energy they produce and export to the grid. Otherwise energy companies are profiting from the solar power produced by home owners," explained Amber Ferguson, Director of Aussie Solar Installations.

"The 40c NETT feed in tariff will provide home owners with a head start in reducing their electricity bills, whilst also affording them to pay off their solar power system faster. It's a great incentive at a time when electricity costs are rising and so much attention surrounds reducing carbon emissions."

Solar power is a free source of energy that is sustainable and totally inexhaustible. It is also a non-polluting source of energy and it does not emit any greenhouse gases when producing electricity. With electricity prices soaring as fossil fuels are depleted it makes sense to switch to solar.
