Solar industry faces bleak future

Local solar firms face a bleak future without a plan to allow consumers to reduce their electricity bills by the same amount they are paying for mainstream power.

Scott Andrews, Sales Manager for Bellingen Solar said that unlike the ACT which dropped its old tariff and immediately implemented a new one, “we in NSW have an industry left in limbo with almost restraint of trade conditions for the past two months by the O’Farrell Government”.
